About the Opportunity

Ad Astra is currently seeking Court Certified Interpreters for ongoing in-person assignments in New York . We are actively recruiting qualified professionals in Spanish, Korean, Arabic, and Mandarin to support legal and court-related settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced interpreters looking for flexible, project-based assignments with consistent demand in legal environments.

What You’ll Do

• Provide accurate, real-time interpretation during court proceedings, legal appointments, and related assignments
• Facilitate communication between individuals with limited English proficiency and legal professionals
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, impartiality, and cultural sensitivity at all times
• Follow court protocols and professional interpreting standards Travel locally within New York for scheduled assignments

Requirements

• Court Certification required
• Fluency in English and at least one of the following:
• Spanish
• Korean
• Arabic
• Mandarin
• Prior experience in legal and/or court interpreting strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Authorized to work in the United States Ability and willingness to attend assignments on-site in New York
