Cosmetology Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cosmetology Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring beauty professionals. Duties

• Deliver engaging lessons on cosmetology topics such as hair coloring, hair extensions, makeup application, facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser treatments
• Supervise students during practical sessions to ensure safety and proper technique
• Mentor students through personalized guidance and constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with industry standards and curriculum requirements
• Assess student progress through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written assessments
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques like dermabrasion, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and body treatments into teaching modules

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in skincare, massage therapy, barbering, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology practices
• Three years work experience as a Cosmetologist
• Skilled in a variety of beauty techniques including hair styling, coloring, threading, facials, nail care, and aesthetic treatments
• Ability to mentor students effectively while demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm
• Excellent lesson planning skills with the ability to adapt content for diverse learning styles
• Certifications or licenses in cosmetology or related specialties are highly desirable
• Exceptional communication skills with a passion for inspiring future beauty professionals

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
