Position Summary
CIL Imports Ltd is a growing New Zealand wholesale import and distribution business supplying a broad range of consumer products to retail and commercial customers nationwide. As the business continues to expand across procurement, warehousing, supplier coordination, operational systems, and enterprise support functions, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Executive Corporate Operations \& Strategic Services Manager to join our senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic operational and administrative support to senior leadership regarding organisational performance, business planning, workforce coordination, compliance systems, operational efficiency, and enterprise resource management.
- Coordinate and oversee internal corporate services functions including administrative operations, facilities support, operational reporting, documentation control, procurement administration, and business process management.
- Develop and implement internal operational procedures, workflow frameworks, compliance protocols, reporting standards, and administrative guidelines to improve operational consistency and organisational efficiency.
- Monitor organisational resources including staffing coordination, operational expenditure, facilities administration, information systems support, and business service delivery across the organisation.
- Prepare operational reports, management summaries, resource analysis, and business recommendations to support executive decision-making and long-term organisational planning.
- Assist with budgeting processes, expenditure monitoring, operational forecasting, supplier administration, and preparation of management reporting information relating to financial and operational performance.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise administrative and operational support personnel to ensure accurate reporting, efficient workflow management, and timely business support delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers, external stakeholders, and industry representatives regarding operational matters, commercial coordination, and organisational initiatives.
- Support enterprise operational optimisation through the use of ERP platforms, AI-assisted reporting systems, workflow automation tools, and operational analytics technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operational governance, reporting systems, organisational processes, and resource management practices.
Qualifications \& Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Management, or related field (NZQF Level 7 or above)
+ Or minimum 5 years’ senior management, operational leadership, or corporate services experience
+ Strong experience in organisational administration, strategic operations, business governance, reporting systems, and resource coordination
+ Advanced analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
+ Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Excel, operational reporting platforms, or AI\-enabled business systems preferred
