About the Role
We are seeking an analytical Corporate Communications Manager to protect and elevate our brand reputation across internal and public channels. This mid-level role is an accessible step for entry-level public relations coordinators, internal communications specialists with strong stakeholder management aptitudes, or journalism graduates looking to secure a specialized corporate position.
Working within a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will act as the critical link between our executive leadership team and our broad base of energy consumers, media outlets, and community stakeholders, ensuring high-performing campaign delivery and maintaining transparent public messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Performance Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize mid-level public relations risks, media inquiries, and regional community response strategies.
Crisis Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of external announcements, community updates, and press releases using internal tracking systems to meet strict reporting timelines.
Communications Performance Documentation: Write clear, concise internal briefing papers, executive talking points, and stakeholder engagement FAQs.
Cross-Functional Escalation: Isolate sensitive regulatory issues or volatile public narratives and escalate them with detailed contextual notes to senior corporate affairs and legal teams.
Stakeholder Onboarding \& Education: Guide internal business units through corporate policy adjustments and regional media protocols, translating complex regulatory updates into simple public statements.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Experience in public relations, corporate communications, media engagement, or journalism.
Technical Skill Set: Familiarity with media monitoring platforms, content publishing frameworks, and digital dissemination tools (media databases, PR distribution software, or corporate intranets).
Analytical Capabilities: Strong strategic problem-solving skills to systematically isolate media biases and reputational risk patterns.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to explain complex energy sector operations, infrastructure investments, or pricing strategies clearly and calmly to mainstream media and local communities.
