Job Summary

The Content Manager is responsible for planning, creating, managing, and optimizing digital and print content to support the organization's marketing, branding, communication, and business objectives. This role oversees the content lifecycle, ensuring that all content is accurate, engaging, consistent with brand guidelines, and tailored to the target audience across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Plan, create, edit, and publish high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Manage the content calendar and coordinate content production schedules.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, sales, and product teams to develop effective content campaigns.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, editorial standards, and messaging consistency.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user engagement.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and recommend improvements based on data insights.
  • Conduct content audits and maintain content accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
  • Manage digital assets, content repositories, and publishing workflows.
  • Coordinate with external writers, designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies when required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing strategies, and emerging content technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright, data privacy, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports on content performance, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Perform other content management and marketing-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content management, digital marketing, editorial, or communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing content across multiple digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
  • Knowledge of graphic design and multimedia content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Experience with AI-assisted content creation tools is an advantage.
