Job Description

Content Director

Location Central Team

Reports to CEO (direct)

Level Director / Head

Scope Bahrain · KSA · Oman · Qatar · Expansion

The Role

Unipal is where the youth experience brands for the first time. Content is how those moments live in culture.

This is not a social media manager role. We need someone who thinks in narratives, builds systems, and owns the full content engine.

From brand voice to execution to the ops pipeline that makes it all move. You will report directly to the CEO and set the direction for how Unipal shows up across every country, every country, and every campaign.

What You Own:

Brand \& Editorial Strategy - Voice, tone, and narrative direction across all markets

Social Media Output - All channels, all countries. Quality and consistency

Partner \& Campaign Content - Brand partner activations, campaign creative, co-productions

Content Operations - Full workflow

Team Management - Build and lead the content team

What You'll Actually Do:

— Define Unipal's content strategy across Bahrain, KSA, and new markets.

— Own the editorial calendar end-to-end: ideation, briefing, production, approval, publish.

— Lead creative direction on all brand partner activations and campaign content.

— Operate and improve the content ops system.

— Build, manage, and develop the content team: creatives, videographers, copywriters.

— Set and hit content KPIs tied to brand awareness, engagement, and commercial outcomes.

— Work directly with the CEO on brand positioning, key campaigns, and new market launches.

— Maintain a single, consistent brand voice across all formats, channels, and

languages.

Hard Requirements:

— Proven content experience: agency, startup, or a personal brand with real traction.

— Track record leading or significantly contributing to a multi-channel content operation.

— At least one example of a content strategy that drove measurable commercial or brand impact.

Who You Are:

— You have a content background: either a personal page, an agency portfolio, or a startup you helped launch their story from scratch.

— You understand Gulf youth culture natively. Not as an observer, as someone who's lived and created in it.

— You think in systems, not posts. You know how to scale creative output without losing quality.

— You're comfortable owning outcomes, not just delivering assets. If a campaign underperforms, you diagnose it and fix it.

— You can write, direct, and brief, and you know when to do which.

— You've managed creative people and know how to get the best out of them.

— Arabic is a must, bilingual is a strong advantage.
