About Us
First Class Mortgage Team is a growing mortgage team based in Windsor-Essex County. We have a team of approximately 10 mortgage agents and are looking to bring our marketing and content creation in-house.
We are looking for a creative, organized, and motivated person who can help us record, edit, post, and manage our content across social media platforms. This is a full-time role for someone local to Windsor-Essex who enjoys working with people, creating engaging content, and helping a brand grow online.
About the Role
The Content Creator \& Social Media Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for capturing and producing content for our mortgage team. This includes recording videos, editing short-form and long-form content, posting to social media, helping manage our content calendar, and supporting the launch and production of our podcast.
This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, is comfortable behind the camera, and can help turn ideas into polished content.
Responsibilities
- Record video content with our mortgage agents and team members
- Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Eurostaffs
- Edit longer-form video content when needed
- Create and manage a consistent posting schedule
- Help plan content ideas, topics, and campaigns
- Post and schedule content across social media platforms
- Assist with podcast setup, recording, editing, posting, and repurposing clips
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, client/event content, educational videos, and promotional content
- Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
- Track basic content performance and suggest improvements
- Work closely with the team to turn mortgage, real estate, and finance topics into simple, engaging content
Requirements
- Must be located in Windsor-Essex County or able to work locally with our team
- Experience recording and editing video content
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Ability to edit video for social media
- Comfortable working with a team and directing people on camera when needed
- Organized and able to manage multiple pieces of content at once
- Creative, reliable, and self-motivated
- Must be able to provide examples of previous work, such as videos, social posts, reels, podcasts, or other content
Bonus Skills
- Experience producing or editing podcasts
- Experience with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and Eurostaffs
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
- Photography experience
- Copywriting or caption-writing experience
- Owns camera, lighting, microphone, or podcast equipment
Equipment is a bonus but not required. We are open to providing the necessary equipment for the right person.
