Construction Project Manager / Site Supervisor (subdivision)

As a Construction Project Manager & Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from inception to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Experience in construction in Canada is mandatory. Having your own car / truck is a huge plus (we will reimburse $200/month for gas).

This role is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extending to 12-months, and then permanent full-time. We're a rapidly growing company!

At the moment, we're looking for someone to be onsite in Waterloo, and sometimes in the GTA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction process from pre-construction to project closeout

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively

• Conduct construction estimating and cost analysis

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success

• Be onsite, hands-on, get down & dirty in the field, help subcontractors and trades however you can to speed progress along.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Canadian construction projects is a MUST.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials

• Experience in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Familiarity with build software for project planning and execution

MUST HAVE:

• Experience with Canadian construction projects is a MUST.

• reliable form of transportation such as your own personal vehicle (up to $200/monthly allowance for gas)

• you MUST be handy and know how to fix minor things and have additional construction skills (cut & patch drywall, cut & nail lumber, repair things, etc.)

• your own set of tools for general construction purpose

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
