Role Purpose :
The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful planning,coordination, execution, monitoring, and handover of construction projects. The role ensures that site activities are completed safely, on time, within agreed quality standards, and in coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internalteams.
This position requires a responsible, proactive, and hands-on engineer who can manage daily project activities, solve site problems, coordinate manpower and materials, and provide accurate project reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning s Coordination
- Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, work plans, and daily/weekly progress plans.
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, workers, consultants,clients, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and highlight delays, risks, or resource shortages early.
- Support the Project Manager or Project Engineer in ensuring project milestones are achieved.
2. Site Execution s Supervision
- Supervise daily site works to ensure work is carried out according to drawings,specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
- Check site readiness before work starts, including materials, manpower, tools,equipment, and access.
- Ensure site issues are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly.
- Maintain good housekeeping, discipline, and safety awareness on site.
3. Technical s Quality Control
- Read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Conduct basic quality checks and ensure works meet required standards.
- Support inspection, testing, rectification, and handover activities.
- Maintain awareness of flat floor requirements and construction quality expectations relevant to the company’s work.
4. Reporting s Documentation
- Prepare accurate daily reports, progress updates, site records, and photo documentation.
- Track manpower, material usage, site productivity, and work completion status.
- Assist in preparing progress claims, variation records, and project close-out documentation where required.
- Use construction software/tools for reporting, planning, communication, and documentation.
5. Material, Manpower s Subcontractor Control
- Coordinate required materials, tools, equipment, and manpower to support site progress.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and report issues affecting quality, progress, or safety.
- Help prevent material shortages, wastage, and unnecessary idle time.
6. Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, consultants, suppliers,subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Support site meetings and follow up on assigned actions.
- Maintain a cooperative and solution-oriented attitude when dealing with project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications s Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant construction site or project coordination experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong attitude and internship/site exposure may be considered.
- Able to read construction drawings and understand basic project specifications.
- Basic knowledge of construction sequencing, site coordination, quality control, and safety requirements.
- Experience with flat floor, concrete, industrial, warehouse, or construction finishing works is an advantage.
- Able to use common construction software and office tools such as Microsoft Excel,Word, Project, AutoCAD, WhatsApp/Feishu, or equivalent tools.
Preferred Criteria
- Prior experience as Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, or Project Coordinator.
- Experience in concrete, flooring, warehouse, factory, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, site progress tracking, quality inspection, and subcontractor coordination.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision after onboarding.
- Strong English or bilingual communication ability, depending on project/client needs.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
