Construction Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Project Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing construction sites and project coordination. The successful candidate must be a qualified engineer, hold a valid UAE driving license, and be MOHRE-approved. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on-site and ensure they align with project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain workflow and address project needs.
• Monitor and enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on-site.
• Prepare and review engineering documents, drawings, and reports.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Report progress and challenges to the Project Manager regularly.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and MOHRE standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE or Gulf construction industry.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
• MOHRE-approved engineer status (preference).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Sales or client-facing experience in the construction or engineering field.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities.
