Construction Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitor and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on project progress, quality, and any issues or defects identified
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of materials and labour
• Review and verify construction methodologies, work procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including daily logs, material testing results, and quality assurance documentation
• Identify and resolve construction-related technical issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Liaise with structural engineers and project managers to communicate progress updates and address any design or construction challenges
• Ensure all work meets structural integrity requirements and adheres to relevant building codes and standards
• Support health and safety initiatives on-site and ensure all personnel comply with safety requirements
• Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control measures

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in construction engineering or site management within civil and structural engineering projects / data centre

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
