Sous l’autorité du superviseur, vous serez responsable de renseigner et conseiller les clients sur les forfaits, vols, réservations d’hôtels et location de voitures dans le but de vendre des prestations de voyages répondant à leurs besoins et à leurs attentes.
RESPONSABILITÉS
Summary
Under the supervision of the manager, you will be responsible for providing information and advice to clients regarding vacation packages, flights, hotel reservations, and car rentals, with the goal of selling travel services that meet their needs and expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome clients in person or by phone, open their files, and establish their customer profiles.
Provide information on destinations, tourist attractions, foreign currencies, local customs and languages, transportation options, accommodations, and travel costs.
Advise clients on travel options, vacation packages, products, and services offered.
Plan itineraries for individuals and groups.
Arrange transportation and accommodation reservations.
Confirm bookings and collect payments for the issuance of travel documents.
Perform related administrative duties such as completing insurance forms (policies), issuing invoices, preparing and delivering documents, and following up on client files.
Promote vacation packages and other services offered by the agency.
Participate in product and service presentations by travel suppliers tailored to clients’ needs.
Attend presentations and training sessions offered by the Transat network.
EXIGENCES
Posséder un minimum de deux (2) années d’expérience en tant que conseiller en voyages;
Minimum Secondaire 5 (Atout DEC Tourisme, DEP Conseil et vente de voyages (DEP)
Posséder le certificat de conseiller(ère) en voyages.
Capacité à gérer la pression tout en maintenant la qualité et le respect des délais.
Démontrer une capacité à gérer un volume élevé de dossiers présentant un haut niveau de complexité.
Aptitudes pour le service à la clientèle et la vente;
Attitudes et comportement professionnels (aptitudes pour le travail d’équipe, autonomie, dynamisme, entregent, honnêteté, polyvalence, sens de l’initiative, sens de l’organisation, etc.);
Connaissance du secteur d’activité touristique et des besoins de la clientèle, de même que des produits touristiques (croisières, circuits, etc.); CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL
Lundi au vendredi, 35 heures par semaine.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Travel Advisor.
High School Diploma required; a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Tourism or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Travel Consulting and Sales is considered an asset.
Valid Travel Advisor certification.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of complex client files.
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Professional attitude and work ethic, including teamwork, autonomy, dynamism, interpersonal skills, integrity, versatility, initiative, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of the tourism industry, client needs, and travel products such as cruises, tours, and vacation packages.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
