Salary: Dependent on experience

About us

The Sanderum Centre is an established, independent workspace provider that has been supporting businesses across Oxfordshire for more than 26 years.

We operate three business centres: Sanderum House in Chinnor, and Principle House and OX9 Thame in Thame.

Our core business is providing professional, fully serviced private offices on flexible terms. Alongside this, we offer meeting rooms, day offices, coworking and a growing range of virtual office and on-demand workspace services.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and personable Community Manager to join our small, friendly team.

About the role

This is a varied, hands-on role combining centre operations, client relationship management, administration and business development.

As Community Manager, you will be a key point of contact for our clients, ensuring our centres run smoothly while helping to create a welcoming, professional environment where businesses can thrive.

You will be primarily based at Sanderum House in Chinnor but will work across all three centres as required, including spending one week each quarter based at one of our Thame locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Centre management: Oversee the day to day running of the centre, including opening and closing, building security, maintenance coordination, contractor appointments and supplies.
  • Client relationships: Welcome clients and visitors, respond to enquiries, resolve issues and help new clients settle in.
  • Business development: Handle enquiries, conduct office viewings, follow up with prospective clients and identify opportunities to introduce existing clients to additional services.
  • Bookings and administration: Manage meeting room, coworking and day office bookings, provide reception services and undertake general client administration.
  • OfficeRnD: Maintain company and member records, manage bookings and billing, record additional charges and support clients using our online Member Portal (training provided).
  • HubSpot and marketing: Maintain accurate CRM records, manage sales pipeline activity and follow-up tasks, support email campaigns and assist with social media content (training provided).
  • Property administration: Provide administrative support for a small residential and industrial property portfolio, including invoicing, tenant correspondence and maintenance coordination.

About you

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service and can confidently manage the varied demands of working across three busy business centres.

Essential skills and qualities:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
  • A friendly, professional and confident approach to client relationships.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing demands.
  • A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving.
  • A team player who is happy to support colleagues across different locations.
  • A full UK driving licence and your own reliable vehicle for travelling to and between the three centres.

Previous experience with HubSpot, OfficeRnD, customer service, office administration or flexible workspace management would be advantageous, but training will be provided.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience.
  • 20 days' annual leave, plus all bank holidays.
  • An additional three days' leave between Christmas and New Year.
  • Enrolment in the NEST workplace pension scheme.
  • Training and opportunities for professional development.

How to apply

If you are an organised, enthusiastic and client-focused individual who would enjoy becoming an important part of our team, we would love to hear from you.

Please send your CV and a short covering letter outlining relevant skills and experience to [email protected] by Friday 9 October, 2026

Please note: This is a fully office-based position. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle is essential due to the requirement to travel between our three centres.

Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
