Communication Designer for Brand Identity & Creative Production (human)
Job Description

Your Core Responsibilities

  • You design and direct brand publications including catalogs, brochures, product sheets, and editorial formats – bringing precision, creative intent, and a distinctly NEURA visual language to every piece, from concept through finished production.
  • You contribute to the development of wayfinding and signage systems, working closely with the Spatial Designer and Brand team to ensure visual and spatial expressions of the brand reinforce each other coherently.
  • Together with Brand, Marketing and Product teams, you actively contribute to the co-creation of the NEURA brand platform – helping to develop and manifest the visual principles, aesthetic standards, and design language that define how the brand expresses itself across all touchpoints.
  • Together with the team, you help define and evolve NEURA’s image worlds – establishing photographic directions, visual narratives, and stylistic references that give the brand a recognisable and ownable point of view.
  • You contribute to the ongoing development of the brand guidelines – helping to build a living framework that internal teams and external partners can apply with confidence and coherence at any scale.
  • You collaborate with photographers, illustrators, motion designers, and external creative studios – briefing and directing their work to align with NEURA’s visual language and defined image worlds.
  • You work alongside Marketing and Product teams to ensure visual consistency across campaigns, presentations, and go-to-market materials – contributing your direction perspective from concept through execution.
  • You bring a proactive creative voice into team discussions – contributing references, cultural observations, and ideas that help advance the NEURA brand in response to strategy, context, and the world it operates in.

What We Can Look Forward To

  • You hold a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art Direction, or a related discipline, and bring solid professional experience working across both brand identity and creative production – ideally in a brand studio, creative agency, or in-house design team.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates both production craft and brand-building depth: editorial and publication design alongside identity systems, image world development, and brand guidelines that feel authored and coherent.
  • You bring deep expertise in typography, colour, layout, and visual composition – applied with creative intent and brand awareness across print and screen.
  • You have a strong feel for image worlds: you can define photographic and visual directions that give a brand a consistent and ownable character.
  • You understand what makes a brand platform coherent and useful – and can contribute to building guidelines and asset systems that teams and partners genuinely want to work with.
  • You are fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with motion or spatial contexts is a plus.
  • You thrive in interdisciplinary teams – sharing your perspective openly, building on others’ thinking, and contributing to creative outcomes that are stronger for being developed together.
  • You have experience directing external creative contributors – photographers, illustrators, studios – and holding the brand’s visual intent through production.
  • You approach creative work with both conceptual depth and production discipline – equally comfortable shaping a brand direction and delivering a finished catalog spread.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in English; German is an advantage.
  • You use digital and AI-assisted design tools and note based design workflows as a natural part of your creative process.
