Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofing projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain a variety of roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, architectural shingle roofing, and other commercial roof types.
• Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures.
• Perform siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, caulking, masonry work, and tile laying as needed for comprehensive roof and exterior projects.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols on-site to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or masonry.
• Knowledge of roofing repair techniques including single-ply membrane roofing and metal roofing systems.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
• Experience with construction estimating is a plus for understanding project scope and materials planning.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy lifting equipment safely in outdoor environments.
• Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and ladder use protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills during restoration or remodeling projects.
• Prior experience working on construction sites with outdoor exposure is preferred.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
