# Commercial Electrical Foreman — Southern California \| Travel Required⚡
**NOW HIRING: COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL FOREMAN**We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly qualified **Commercial Electrical Foreman** to lead electrical construction crews on ongoing commercial projects.
This is a **leadership position**, not simply a working electrician role. We are looking for someone who understands commercial electrical construction from the ground up, can effectively manage people and projects, understands applicable codes and safety requirements, and takes ownership of the work they oversee.
**Primary Work Area:** Southern California — Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, and surrounding areas
**Travel:** California, Arizona, and occasional Hawaii projects
Project Types:** Ongoing commercial construction projects, some prevailing wage.
### REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
** Must consistently maintain **OSHA-compliant safety practices** and enforce safety expectations with the entire crew
Demonstrated experience managing **medium to large electrical crews** Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate effectively with General Contractors, Superintendents, Project Managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and other trades
Strong project-management and organizational skills
Ability to track manpower, materials, productivity, schedules, and project progress
Ability to identify and address problems before they become costly delays or rework
Must be able to maintain quality standards while working under **tight deadlines and time constraints**
Must have **reliable personal transportation** and a valid driver's license
Must be willing and able to **travel for projects throughout California and Arizona, with occasional travel to Hawaii**
Must provide **professional references that can verify experience, qualifications, leadership ability, and reliability**
### THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL BE
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Experience with conduit installation, feeders, branch circuits, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting, controls, equipment connections, and other commercial electrical systems Ability to coordinate electrical work with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, and other trades Familiarity with inspections and working with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) Ability to conduct and participate in jobsite meetings Ability to provide clear daily direction and communicate project needs to management Ability to accurately identify material and manpower requirements Ability to maintain jobsite cleanliness and professional standards Ability to train, mentor, and develop less-experienced electricians Ability to enforce quality-control standards Ability to recognize schedule risks and communicate them promptly Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional attitude and appearance Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve###
