Blumen Cafe \& Sweets, one of the leading cafes in Riyadh, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Coffee Quality Manager to join our growing team.

Position: Coffee Quality Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent coffee quality across all beverages served.
• Develop and maintain coffee preparation standards, recipes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor espresso extraction, milk steaming, brewing methods, and beverage presentation to ensure consistency.
• Conduct regular quality checks on coffee beans, grinders, espresso machines, and brewing equipment.
• Perform cupping sessions and evaluate coffee quality, flavor profiles, and freshness.
• Train, coach, and evaluate baristas on coffee preparation techniques, workflow, and customer service standards.
• Monitor inventory, storage conditions, and stock rotation to maintain product freshness.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure coffee beans and ingredients meet quality specifications.
• Investigate customer feedback related to coffee quality and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on coffee industry trends, brewing techniques, and specialty coffee standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Coffee Quality Manager, Head Barista, Coffee Trainer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, brewing methods, coffee roasting, and sensory evaluation.
• Experience with specialty coffee standards and quality control processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certification or equivalent is an advantage.
• Arabic and English proficiency preferred.
