Onyx Digital Solutions is accelerating the deployment of cloud native architectures for enterprise and public-sector clients across the GCC. We are immediately hiring a technical, hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the migration, scaling, and automation of high-availability hybrid environments. This permanent, full-time position operates out of our advanced technology hub inside Knowledge Oasis Muscat, Al Khoudh 124.

We provide a comprehensive, tax-free salary package of OMR 2,150 per month, inclusive of all regional housing, health, and transport allowances.

The Role and Team Impact

As a core engineer within our cloud operations division, you will take complete ownership of cloud network topology, security perimeters, and infrastructure automation. This role focuses heavily on building resilient, zero-downtime environments utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. You will be responsible for orchestrating containerized workloads, managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and optimizing cloud spend metrics. Collaborating directly with software architects and cyber security teams, you will eliminate single points of failure, establish robust disaster recovery automation, and guarantee extreme system responsiveness for high-volume enterprise applications.

Your Technical Background

• Cloud Architecture: 4 to 6 years of dedicated experience designing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise cloud environments, with deep specialization in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automation \& Orchestration: Proven mastery of Infrastructure as Code tools (specifically Terraform or CloudFormation) alongside hands-on management of containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Systems \& Networking: Strong foundational knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration, CI/CD pipeline structures (GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps), and cloud networking protocols (VPCs, load balancing, DNS, and VPN gateways).
• Education \& Certifications: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. Valid certifications such as AWS SysOps/DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are highly advantageous.
• Linguistic Clarity: Flawless professional English is required for architecture documentation and technical reporting.
