The WHIN Coordinator (Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and families across local school communities. Working autonomously within primary and secondary schools, the WHIN Coordinator uses specialist clinical expertise to identify health and social needs, coordinate early intervention, and connect students and families with the right services at the right time Are You the Right Fit?

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). 3 years relevant Full Time equivalent post registration experience working with children and young people and approved post graduate qualifications related to the specialty area of child and family health, or pediatrics', or adolescent / youth health nursing practice or in a field relevant to the specialty field, or such other qualification, or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation. * Clinical Expertise \& Experience Working With Children and Young People Describe your clinical experience as a Registered Nurse working with children and young people, including any postgraduate qualifications relevant to child and family health, paediatrics, or youth health. How has this experience prepared you for a specialist role within school settings? * Early Intervention, Health Promotion \& Working With At Risk Groups Provide examples demonstrating your understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people, including those who are marginalised or at risk. How have you applied health promotion, prevention, and early intervention approaches in your practice? * Family Engagement \& Interagency Collaboration Explain how you engage with families to address health or mental health concerns for children and young people. Describe your experience coordinating care and collaborating with multiple agencies, services, or professionals to support vulnerable families. * Communication, Leadership \& Integration of Care Describe how you use your communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills to influence outcomes and support integrated care. Include examples of how you have demonstrated leadership, contributed to quality service delivery, or improved pathways for children, young people, and families. * Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
