The Clinical Nurse Manager, in consultation with the Facility Manager and the multidisciplinary team, will play a pivotal role in managing clinical and care service delivery for residents.

We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record of collaborating effectively and leveraging the strengths of an established Clinical Care Team. In this role, you will be key to ensuring high-quality care outcomes and delivering leadership within the service. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in dementia care, palliative care, and end-of-life care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the Facility Manager and the Quality \& Compliance Officer to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the facility
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team in all clinical and care/support activities
  • Monitor, review, and report on complex clinical conditions to ensure personalised care for all residents
  • Mentor and coach Registered and Enrolled Nurses, along with the broader clinical/care team, to help them reach their full potential
  • Promote resident well-being and safety by ensuring collaborative care practices and the highest standards of service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
  • Role model best practices in documentation, communication, and record management, ensuring residents’ needs, choices, and preferences are clearly understood and respected

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our charming Midland facility!

Skills, Attributes and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Experience in aged care, preferably in residential and / or community setting
  • Clinical expertise in the management of common medical conditions
  • Understanding / experience with the AN-ACC funding instrument
  • Understanding of quality \& risk management systems and the Aged Care Standards Framework
  • High level computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Is organised and can effectively manage responsibilities and own priorities and assist others in this
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop staff, foster teamwork and effectively work as a team member whilst providing leadership.
