Background Information
eReferral Ontario is a new Provincial eReferral network for Ontario's health care providers that will simplify, harmonize and modernize how Referrals are sent and received across Ontario. eReferral Ontario includes Referrals working with Referral Management System vendors and Central Intake vendors. Select referrals will go through a Regional Central Intake hub ( i.e diagnostic imaging, Surgical ) that will support load balancing across the system. The goal is to ensure inter vendor systems can function alongside with Agency assets, such as PCCG (Provincial Care Coordination Gateway) and PHSD (Provincial Health Services Directory).

Responsibilities:
The Intermediate Program Manager aims to enable the following team objectives:
Handle stakeholder/hospital relationships and manage expectations.
Create progress tracking dashboards for internal Agency and external stakeholders, such as LDGs (local delivery groups)
Gather input and create knowledge base to support detailed project planning and/or integrated portfolio plan.
Proactively identify potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed; identify potential conflicts between project and functional areas
Work with subject matter experts, within the Agency to gather internal stakeholder feedback and business requirements
Articulate and prioritize issues and risks and recommend mitigation strategies for decision makers
Update and monitor program document repository to ensure all documents are current and reviewed
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Health Studies, Public Administration or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Project Management, or related professional designation as asset
Experience working in a hybrid environment, equally comfortable working with teams online or in person.
Experience planning and leading large meetings.
Experience in the Ontario health care sector and public service, with existing positive relationships an asset.

Exceptionally skilled at producing documents, dashboards and supporting program materials with the Microsoft 365 suite, Microsoft Project, and other common business tools.
Skilled understanding how to frame information and communicate it in a high-risk and fast-paced environment where information sharing to demonstrate transparency and trust is closely balanced with the reputational and liability risks of not sharing the appropriate information to the right audience or at the right time.

The Program Manager will be responsible for engaging internal and external stakeholders to support the Hospital Information Integration (HIS) workstream which consists of:
Coordinate hospital onboarding onto eReferral Ontario network
Support the technology integration of the hospital information systems (HIS) instances to Provincial Care Coordination Gateway (PCCG)
Drive consensus for clinical adoption and change management across participating hospitals and Local Delivery Group (LDG) Leads
Report HIS Integration status at various levels: Patients Before Paperwork (PB4P) Leadership, LDG CIO forum, other Agency lead tables
