Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Maple Ridge. In this role, you will perform precision welding on a variety of industrial components, working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in producing structurally sound and visually clean welds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precision welding on hydraulic lines and fittings
  • Weld plate materials and small structural/architectural components
  • Utilize GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and laser welding techniques daily
  • Work primarily with stainless steel and carbon steel, with some aluminum fabrication
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding)

Schedule \& Work Conditions

  • Schedule Options:
  • Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Travel: None required

Compensation \& Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Based on experience and certifications (discussed during interview)
  • Health Benefits: ICBA plan (50/50 employer/employee premium split)
  • Vacation: Two weeks paid annually
  • Seasonal Shutdowns:
  • Summer: Two-week closure (late July / early August)
  • Winter: December 24 – January 2
  • Flexible Leave: Additional unpaid time off available with advance notice (up to 2 weeks per request)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Red Seal Certification
  • Valid BC Class A Pressure Welding Certification
  • English Language Requirement: Candidates must have proficient English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to understand procedures, blueprints, safety policies, hazard communications, and daily work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • General metal fabrication experience
  • Valid forklift certification
