Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end claim lifecycle by following due process and mandatory compliance requirements to protect company interests.

Claims

  • Lead as a single point of entry for all fleet, shipping, GIT and EL/PL claims.

  • Monitor and respond to inbound claims via email inbox, telephone calls and damage reports.

  • Ensure all claims information is accurately captured.

  • Ascertain the nature of the claim and notify relevant parties, record claim on internal systems and coordinate with insurers.

  • Investigate claims to determine liability position.

  • Reviewing information from various sources (i.e. vehicle dashcam, damage reports).

  • Log & manage damage claims through shipping company portals in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate estimates for repairs, liaise with relevant parties including partners.

  • Update and maintain accurate records throughout incident lifecycle.

  • Negotiate where appropriate the settlement of claims with third parties and solicitors.

  • Evaluate vehicle and cargo damages, including total loss vehicles

  • Meet with Safety & Compliance Manager, Garage Manager and Director to provide updates on claims and discuss outcomes.

  • Complete the accounts process for claims including invoicing.

  • Engage with the insurers regularly on claims history/experience to support the renewal.

  • Produce regular KPI and metrics.

  • Liaise directly with insurance companies re changes to existing coverage, e.g., MTAs, updates to fleet policy etc.

  • Maintain records on the National Fleet Database.

Incident Management

  • Support with incident response from a Safety & Compliance lens.

  • Log, categorise and track incidents

  • Coordinate internal communications and escalation where necessary

  • Ensure all incidents are logged and progressed.

Systems Management

  • Log non-conformances arising from incidents, audits, inspections

  • Maintain the corrective action register

  • Assign & track actions to completion

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure closure of actions.

  • Verify and document completion in coordination with the Safety & Compliance Manager

Pay: From €34,000.00 per year
