Civil Site Engineer

*About the Role*

We are a growing contracting company based in Sohar, Oman, seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee and execute civil construction and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, quality control, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

*Key Responsibilities*

- Supervise all civil site activities including earthworks, concrete works, foundations, and structural work

- Read, interpret, and implement engineering drawings and project specifications

- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project manager

- Monitor daily progress and prepare site reports and daily diaries

- Enforce HSE (Health, Safety \& Environment) standards on site

- Manage material delivery schedules and track quantities

- Conduct quality inspections and maintain documentation

- Liaise with client representatives and consultants during site visits

- Prepare and submit RFIs, method statements, and material submittals

*Requirements*

- Diploma Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng / B.Sc)

- Minimum 3 years of site experience in Oman or GCC

- Experience in road works, building construction, or industrial/infrastructure projects preferred

- Proficient in AutoCAD; MS Project or Primavera is an advantage

- Strong knowledge of Omani construction standards and municipality requirements

- Valid Omani driving license (or ability to obtain one)

- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
