Position Title: Civil Foreman

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise and coordinate site construction activities for a high-rise building project in Dubai. The candidate must have strong experience with UAE main contractors and be capable of managing manpower, subcontractors, daily site activities, and ensuring work is completed according to project specifications, safety standards, and construction schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily civil construction activities on site.
• Coordinate and manage site workers, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor progress of work and report daily activities to the Site Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, QA/QC, and safety departments.
• Maintain site discipline and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality, consultant, and project requirements.
• Resolve minor site issues and coordinate with management for technical concerns.
• Monitor housekeeping and ensure the work area remains clean and safe.
• Assist in planning work schedules and achieving project deadlines.
• Prepare daily progress reports and manpower allocation reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in UAE high-rise building projects.
• Previous experience with a main contractor in the UAE is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction works including:
• Reinforcement works
• Concrete works
• Block works
• Plastering and finishing works
• Formwork and structural activities
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety standards and procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling large manpower teams.
• Familiarity with project schedules and productivity targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
