About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Chinese-speaking Inventory Accountant to join our team in Chonburi. This position plays a critical role in managing finished goods inventory, warehouse accounting, stock reconciliation, and system data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory accounting, warehouse operations, ERP systems, and cross-functional coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Finished Goods Inbound \& Outbound Accounting
- Verify inbound and outbound inventory data from AS/RS and accurately update records in iWMS.
- Cross-check shipping documents against physical inventory, including product specifications, quantities, and batch numbers.
- Monitor finished goods movement after production and coordinate with Production, Planning, and QA teams to resolve inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, and rework issues.
2. Inventory Ledger Management
- Maintain accurate daily inventory records for all inbound and outbound transactions.
- Conduct regular reconciliations between system records and physical inventory.
- Manage batch numbers, expiration dates, and storage locations to ensure FIFO compliance.
3. Documentation \& Record Management
- Organize and maintain warehouse documents, transfer records, and inventory-related files.
- Ensure all documentation is properly archived and traceable.
- Support Finance and Export teams during monthly, semi-annual, and annual inventory audits.
4. Reporting \& Inventory Control
- Prepare daily and weekly shipping schedules and inventory reports.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual stock counts.
- Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory variances and recommend process improvements.
5. System Data Accuracy \& Support
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data within WMS and AS/RS systems.
- Participate in ERP, WMS, and warehouse system testing, upgrades, and implementation projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
Qualifications
- College degree or above in Accounting, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience in inventory accounting, warehouse operations, or stock management.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting principles, stock reconciliation, and cost flow concepts.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and able to use Chinese as a working language.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home appliance manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or large-scale industrial warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with WMS, AS/RS, SAP, Oracle, or similar warehouse management systems.
- Previous experience supporting inventory audits and stocktaking activities.
