We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Chemistry & Biology Tutor/Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the school curricula in Dubai and a passion for making complex scientific concepts understandable, engaging, and enjoyable for students.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Subject Matter Expertise:
Teach and support students in various levels of Chemistry and Biology, delivering clear and effective instruction aligned with curriculum requirements.
Academic Support:
Assist school-going students in strengthening their understanding of core concepts and excelling in their subject studies.
Exam Preparation:
Guide students through comprehensive exam preparation, helping them master test-taking strategies and curriculum-specific content for school exams and standardized tests, including those for the IB, IGCSE, and the American and British curricula.
Tailored Instruction:
Work with students of different ages and academic abilities, providing one-on-one and small-group instruction.
Progress Tracking:
Regularly assess student performance, track academic progress, and provide timely feedback to students and their parents.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of school programs, syllabi, and examination systems relevant to Dubai schools is essential, with specific expertise in IB, IGCSE, and American and British curricula.
KHDA Compliance:
A valid KHDA Educator Permit is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates without a valid permit must be eligible and willing to obtain one.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility:
Available to teach during flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
