Chemistry and Biology Required -Pearson Edexcel International A-Level

ACE Education Bahrain is looking for an experienced and qualified home tutor to teach Chemistry and Biology to a Year 12 student following the Pearson Edexcel International curriculum.

The ideal candidate must have strong subject knowledge, relevant International A-Level teaching experience, and the ability to prepare students effectively for examinations.

Job Details

• Student Level: Year 12
• Curriculum: Pearson Edexcel International A-Level
• Subjects: Chemistry and Biology
• Location: Home tuition in Juffair, near Ramez, Bahrain
• Preferred Days: Mondays and Tuesdays
• Timing: After 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM
• Session Duration: 2 hours per session
• Teaching Mode: In-person home tuition

Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry and Biology according to the Pearson Edexcel International A-Level syllabus.
• Explain complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.
• Prepare the student for examinations using past papers, practice questions, and revision materials.
• Identify learning gaps and adapt lessons to the student’s needs.
• Monitor academic progress and provide regular feedback.
• Support the student in developing effective examination techniques and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience teaching Pearson Edexcel International A-Level Chemistry and Biology.
• Experience teaching Year 12 or equivalent International A-Level students.
• Strong understanding of the relevant syllabus and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to student progress.
