Chef

We are currently looking for Chef for our store who can work in a fast paced, fun environment and be part of a successful Team. We are looking for someone who has ‘Can Do’ attitude and basic customer service skills, training will be given on operational aspects.

Applicant should have at least 3 years’ experience in similar field or have relevant qualification of level 4 or higher and must be available for work Monday to Sunday (all days). If candidates have knowledge about cooking Persian Food will be preferred.

Tasks Include:

• planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies
• monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• preparing and cooking food

· cooking Persian Food

• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• may select and train staff
• may freeze and preserve foods
• may plan menus and estimate food requirements

We Require Full Time Position on Full time and ongoing Role ‘Chef’ with Immediate Start:

Pay Rate: Starts $30.00 NZD to 35.00 NZD

Timing of the Shifts of Work: will have a mixture of split shifts throughout the week.

Type of Employment: Full Time and Ongoing Basis- Minimum Guaranteed Hours are 32 per

week.
