Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and comfort while capturing high-quality images.
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and helping patients feel at ease throughout their visit.
Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with pediatrics, adapting techniques to meet the specific needs of different patient groups.
Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for certain restorative procedures when applicable.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards and infection control protocols.

Skills

  • Level II Dental Assistant certification
  • Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
  • Fluent in English and Farsi
  • HARP certified
  • Fast, orginized, and able to multitask
  • Professional, dependable, and punctual
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a busy dental office
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Patient-focused and compassionate
  • Able to work independently and take initiative

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
