Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, and surgical treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, setting up supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
• Manage patient records efficiently using dental practice management software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
• Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant Level II with valid licensure or certification in accordance with state requirements
• Proven experience with dental assisting duties, including surgical procedures
• Proficiency in dental software, record keeping, and billing purposes
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care procedures
• Familiarity with Trios scanner or Itero
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 18.0 per week
