Category Manager - Juice and White Milk

The Role

Bega Group has a rare opportunity to join our high-performing Category \& Consumer Insights team, with a newly created role driven by internal progression. We’re looking for an experienced Category Manager to take ownership of our Juice and White Milk categories, shaping strategy, influencing customers and driving growth across the business.

In this role, you’ll bring category, shopper and customer insights together to develop compelling growth strategies . You’ll translate these into channel-specific range, assortment and in-store activation that connect with consumers, while partnering with major grocery customers to lead range reviews and contribute to Joint Customer Planning.

This is a highly visible position where your ability to tell powerful category stories, influence cross-functional stakeholders and turn data into actionable recommendations will shape commercial decisions and unlock growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Juice and White Milk category growth strategies aligned to Bega’s 5-year commercial plan
• Lead grocery customer range reviews and contribute to Joint Customer Planning (JCP) to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
• Create insight-led, compelling category stories to optimise portfolio participation and influence customer decisions
• Chair monthly i nternal category review meetings to drive cross-functional alignment and delivery of category and commercial priorities
• Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to drive team and broader business success

About You

• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, with high attention to detail and organisational effectiveness
• Build, manage, and influence internal and external stakeholders using strong negotiation skills
• Apply commercial acumen to assess investment value and deliver against business objectives
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through compelling storytelling
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and with external customers, managing competing priorities with an agile mindset to deliver outcomes at pace
