Catamaran Photographer/Sales Associate-Commission Based

Job Summary
Seeking photographer/sales associate for a beach catamaran in Waikiki. The first sail departs at 11am and the last sail returns after sunset. It is a perfect mix of not starting work too early and not working all night. Between each sail photographers have about an hour of free time to enjoy the beach, surf, do homework or whatever they please until the catamaran returns from the tour. Photography experience is not required. We pose each group together in front of the boat and get a nice photo with the catamaran and Diamond Head in the background. Pay is 35% commission of all sales with a minimum of $28 per sail photographed (normally 4 sails each day). The more you sell the more money you will make. Students welcomed.

Duties

• Photograph groups/families boarding a beach catamaran in Waikiki before they go sailing.
• Select which photo to print of each group while the boat is sailing.
• Print each photo and put in the custom folder frame
• Upon return from the sail our photographer then sells each print to the customers as the depart the boat.
• Insure to show each group their photo and upsell digital files with the prints.

Skills

• Stong communication skills
• Sales experience is a plus but not required
• Motivated to make money
• Basic knowledge of a camera
• Able to be outside in the sun for periods of time
• Responsible and able to work with limited to no supervision
