Job Description:
Performing carpentry, joinery, and general building maintenance
Repairing doors, walls, ceilings, flooring, windows, and fixtures
Installing timber structures, fittings, and hardware
Reading construction drawings and work orders
Using hand tools and power tools safely
Completing preventive and reactive maintenance works
Ensuring all work complies with safety and building regulations
Working at defence bases, hospitals, rail sites, housing projects, or infrastructure facilities
Coordinating with supervisors, maintenance teams, and contractors
Maintaining clean and safe work environments
Requirements:
Certificate III in Carpentry
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Driver’s licence
Experience in maintenance or construction
Ability to pass medical and police checks
Defence clearance for some projects
