Wild Campers Ireland Job spec - Campervan Technician
Job Title: Campervan Technician
Location: Wild Campers Ireland, Unit L5a, Smithstown Industrial Estate, Shannon, Co Clare, V14 XC42 *please note this is a fully onsite role, not suitable for remote working*
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible, but can be flexible for the right candidate
Salary: €28,696 - €35,000, depending on experience.
About Us: Wild Campers Ireland builds tough, adventure-ready campervans with a no-nonsense approach and a passion for the outdoors. We specialise in high-quality campervan conversions, upgrades, repairs and custom projects for customers who want reliable vehicles built to handle real adventures. As a growing business, we're looking for a practical, motivated and reliable Campervan Technician to join our workshop team and help us continue delivering high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
The Role: This is a hands-on role within our busy workshop, working on campervan conversions, upgrades and repairs. You'll be involved in a wide variety of projects, from fitting campervan equipment and furniture to electrical installations, vehicle modifications and general workshop tasks. Experience in campervan conversions is an advantage but is not essential. We are willing to invest time in training the right person who has a strong work ethic, good practical skills and a willingness to learn. A positive attitude and genuine interest in the work are more important to us than previous campervan experience. We can teach skills; enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn are much harder to train. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, enjoy solving problems and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. No two days are exactly the same, so flexibility, adaptability and a positive attitude are essential.
