Job Responsibilities
- To perform calibration procedures on measurement instruments and equipment according to established protocols and specifications.
- To conduct tests and measurements to verify the accuracy, precision, and functionality of calibration equipment.
- To record calibration data, test results, and observations accurately and maintain comprehensive documentation for traceability and compliance purposes.
- To troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions or performance issues, collaborating with technical experts or manufacturers as needed to resolve problems.
- To perform adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance on calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- To adhere to quality assurance procedures and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or customer-specific standards.
- To brainstorm in the development and revision of calibration procedures, documentation, and quality system documentation.
- To assist in internal and external audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- To collaborate with Validation Engineers and other departments to support calibration activities.
- To provide technical support and guidance to other team members or departments on calibration-related issues or requirements.
- To maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the calibration laboratory and work areas.
- To stay informed about industry trends, developments, and best practices in calibration techniques, technologies, and standards.
- To communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- To perform any other duties as determined by the Management, which is considered beneficial to the Company and within your capabilities, without detriment or bringing injury to yourself.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent technical education in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in calibration or related technical field.
- Knowledge of calibration principles, techniques, and standards.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments, equipment, and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and calibration software.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
