About the Role

Join a supportive Cancer Program team where you'll play an important role in coordinating patient care and delivering high-quality administrative support across specialised cancer services. You'll coordinate appointments and patient pathways, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate records and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure patients receive timely, seamless care throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments, procedures and care pathways
  • Support patient care coordination and administrative activities across the program
  • Liaise with clinicians, nurses, allied health, and other hospital staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records, databases and related documentation
  • Prepare correspondence, reports and other administrative documentation
  • Develop and maintain administrative procedures, workflows and supporting documentation to promote consistent and efficient service delivery.
  • Manage confidential information with discretion and accuracy
  • Provide administrative support across the Cancer Program
  • Respond to enquiries from patients, staff and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the efficient day-to-day delivery of clinical and administrative services and continuous service improvement.

About You

You’re a highly organised administrator who thrives in a busy healthcare environment. With strong communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative approach, you can confidently manage competing priorities while supporting patients and clinical teams with professionalism and care.

  • Experience in hospital or healthcare administration
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems
  • Ability to build positive relationships with patients, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage workloads, priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Handle confidential information with accuracy and care
  • Ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative and contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge, skills and/or experience in Cancer Services and/or CAR-T Therapy is highly desirable
