We are looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The candidate should have strong experience in digital dental design and be able to handle CAD/CAM workflows from scanning and designing through to production.
The ideal candidate should have experience with dental CAD software, implant cases, surgical guide design, and digital workflows, with good attention to detail and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Design dental restorations using CAD/CAM software according to prescriptions and clinical requirements.
* Handle digital dental cases including crowns, bridges, veneers, implant restorations and other prosthetic work.
* Design implant surgical guides accurately according to CBCT, intraoral scan and implant planning data.
* Prepare and modify digital files for 3D printing and milling.
* Work with intraoral scans, STL files and other digital dental files.
* Perform digital model preparation, tooth setup and case planning.
* Ensure designs meet laboratory quality standards and dentist/clinic requirements.
* Review cases before production and identify design or technical issues.
* Coordinate with technicians, dentists and the production team regarding case requirements and modifications.
* Maintain accurate case records and meet laboratory turnaround times.
* Troubleshoot CAD/CAM design and workflow issues when required.
* Follow laboratory procedures for quality control and digital case management.
Required Qualifications \& Experience
* Valid DHA license/eligibility as a Dental Technician is mandatory.
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Dental CAD/CAM Technician in a dental laboratory.
* Strong knowledge of dental CAD/CAM workflows.
* Proficiency in dental CAD software such as 3Shape, exocad, or equivalent.
* Hands-on experience in surgical guide design is mandatory.
* Experience with implant planning and digital implant workflows.
* Knowledge of intraoral scans, CBCT data and STL files.
* Experience preparing files for 3D printing and/or milling.
