What you'll do
- Prepare complete construction drawing sets including master drawing list, drawing index, drawing labels and drawing cover page.
- Develop accurate technical drawings based on approved 3D design, confirmed design intent, material specifications and project requirements.
- Translate design concepts into buildable construction details for fabrication, installation and on-site execution.
- Produce detailed joinery drawings, elevations, sections, layouts and related technical documentation for project implementation.
- Apply correct drawing scale, CAD layer standards, line weight, annotation format and ISO drawing practices.
- Cross-check all drawings before issuance to verify dimensions, specifications, references, revisions and technical accuracy.
- Conduct site visits to take measurements, verify actual site conditions and identify discrepancies affecting drawing production.
- Resolve drawing discrepancies by proposing practical technical detailing solutions that suit site conditions and construction methods.
- Communicate technical details clearly with designers, carpenters, fabricators and contractors regarding joinery detailing, construction methods and material applications.
- Deliver technical drawings within project deadlines while managing multiple drawing requirements with accuracy and quality.
- Perform any expressed or implied duties and responsibilities required by the company or superior.
What we need
- Diploma or Degree in architecture, architectural drafting, interior design, or related field.
- Demonstrate minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in technical drawing, architectural drafting, interior design or related field.
- Use AutoCAD and SketchUp proficiently for technical drawing production and design interpretation.
- Apply strong understanding of construction detailing, joinery detailing and material specifications.
- Manage multiple projects and drawing submissions within tight deadlines.
- Produce accurate documentation with strong attention to detail and quality.
