Business Support Administrator \| 32 hours per week \| Office-based (Napier)

Join our Napier office and play a key role in keeping our business running smoothly. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same – perfect for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy team and making things happen.

What you’ll do

You’ll provide essential support across the office and project teams, including:

  • Delivering a warm, professional front-of-house experience for clients and visitors
  • Keeping the office running smoothly – managing supplies, coordinating events, and organising catering
  • Supporting project administration, including scheduling, document control, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • Assisting with finance processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor coordination
  • Preparing and formatting presentations, documents, and reports
  • Providing day-to-day support across MS Office, MS Teams, and basic IT and meeting room/AV support
  • Supporting onboarding activities and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting document management
  • Pitching in wherever needed, bringing a flexible, team-first approach

About you

You’re organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar administrative or business support role
  • Experience across the MS Office suite of tools including MS Teams
  • Strong systems skills, with confidence picking up new tools and technologies
  • A personable, solutions-focused approach and high level of initiative
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with ease
  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism, including handling confidential information
  • A full, clean driver licence

Please note that the successful candidate must have full, unrestricted work rights in New Zealand. This role is not eligible for Accredited Employer Work Visa sponsorship.

The full-time equivalent salary range is $67,000 – $75,000 depending on experience (pro-rated for part-time hours).
