Job Title: Business Support Administrator (Plumbing \& Heating)
Location: On-site and in-person at our unit in Battlefield.
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000, dependent on experience.
Reports To: Business Support Manager / Company Directors

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating jobs, managing customer communications, and ensuring accurate financial administration. Key Responsibilities
Scheduling \& Job Management
- Use Joblogic to schedule engineers’ daily workloads efficiently
- Monitor job progress and update statuses in real time
- Allocate emergency and reactive maintenance jobs as required
- Liaise with engineers to ensure timely attendance and completion
Customer Service
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Provide updates on job status, appointments, and delays
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
Quoting \& Invoicing
- Convert approved quotes into jobs and track completion
- Generate and send invoices promptly upon job completion
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and invoices
Accounting \& Finance Support
- Assist with credit control and chasing overdue payments
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks and reporting
General Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across systems
- File documents and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Assist with stock ordering and supplier coordination
- Provide administrative support to management and engineers
Skills \& Experience
- Previous administrative experience (ideally within plumbing, heating, or construction sectors)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Knowledge of plumbing and heating industry processes
- Experience in scheduling field engineers
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Joblogic (or similar field service software)
