The Role

Drive direct merchant acquisition across Victoria by calling pre-qualified retail and hospitality venues, delivering quick phone pitches, and executing live app activations on their existing POS terminals (e.g. Clover).

This is a high-volume, fast-cycle outbound sales role built for a high-energy hunter who thrives on closing on the spot.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute 50+ targeted outbound dials daily to venue owners and managers during off-peak trade hours.
• Conduct rapid 3-minute phone demos and activate merchants live on their existing POS hardware.
• Run multi-touch follow-up sequences (Call/SMS) to close short-cycle pilot cohorts.
• Confidently pivot common objections (e.g., "send me an email") into immediate product walk-throughs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years in outbound sales, cold calling, or field sales (POS, merchant services, payments, SaaS, or hospitality tech experience preferred).
• Sharp phone presence capable of hooking busy venue owners within 10 seconds.
• High autonomy, comfortable in fast-paced sprints, and driven by performance-based incentives.

Pay: $27.00 – $64.00 per hour
