As we continue to expand our HealthTech and healthcare solutions portfolio, we are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and establish strategic partnerships across the healthcare sector.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, sales-focused role for a proven business development professional with experience selling HealthTech, healthcare technology, SaaS, diagnostics, healthcare services, laboratory solutions, or healthcare platforms into clinics and healthcare organisations.
We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships with decision-makers, and close deals quickly. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by substantial financial rewards linked to performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound sales, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify and engage clinic owners, healthcare practitioners, medical directors, healthcare groups, and healthcare organisations.
- Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and commercial discussions with prospective clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM systems.
- Develop strategic partnerships with healthcare providers and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.
- Attend healthcare conferences, networking events, and industry exhibitions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer acquisition and business growth.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Business Development and direct Sales
- Proven track record of successfully selling HealthTech solutions, SaaS, diagnostics, healthcare software, healthcare services, laboratory services, or healthcare solutions.
- Experience selling into clinics, healthcare providers, wellness organisations, or healthcare networks.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build sales pipelines, and consistently close new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and results-driven mindset.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Existing network within healthcare, diagnostics, private clinics, laboratory services, or digital health sectors.
- Experience selling subscription-based services, healthcare platforms, or outsourced healthcare solutions.
- Knowledge of diagnostics, laboratory services, patient pathways, or healthcare compliance.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
Salary \& Benefits
- Competitive base salary of £35,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential.
- Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £80,000 – £120,000+ per annum.
