Job Description Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly self-motivated, persistent, and technically skilled Technical Sales to drive growth within the Food \& Beverage (F\&B) industry in SEA ( Oceania for AVD ) region. The focus is on a component-oriented business model, selling high-performance pumps and complementary fluid-handling products to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and System Integrators. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and the OEM’s system design needs. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and securing approval for our products in new machine designs, typically focusing on a 2–3 year sales cycle. You will need to engage with end-users in brewery, dairy, and food operations to solve application problems, adding value and securing our presence in factory listings. In addition you will be responsible to identify and secure good agents or distributors in the region to support our growth on the F\&B business segment.

• Technical Sales \& Application Knowledge: Provide deep technical, application-oriented support to OEMs, assisting in their system design, component selection, and engineering processes.
• System Design \& Replacement: Replace competitor products and secure specifications for our pumps and components in new equipment designs (filling, processing, bottling).
• End-User Development: Visit dairy, brewery, and beverage operations to understand applications, solve problems, and secure our presence in factory listings.
• Project Pipeline Management: Proactively identify and manage new OEM accounts, steering projects from initial design approval to ramp-up of production.
• EPC Sales Support: Collaborate with Engineering Procurement Companies (EPC) on greenfield projects for brewery and food plant construction.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive trends, new product developments, and VDMA member activities to adjust sales strategies. To succeed, you will need

Experience working for or with manufacturers of typical pumps/components: * Pumps: ITT Bornemann, Netzsch, Jung, SPX, CSF Inox, Verder, PCM, Fristam, GEA/Hilge, Ampco, Alfa Laval, KSB, Xylem, Viking (IDEX Group), Heishin.

Valves/Components: GEMÜ, Bürkert, SISTO, Spirax Sarco, Aerreinox

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE

• Experience in filling or bottling technology from an engineering perspective.
• Operations engineer experience within a Dairy, Brewery, or Process/Filling company.
• Background in Bakery equipment, Meat/Protein processing technology, Beverage machinery, Pharmaceutical/Cosmetic machinery, or Packaging machines.
• Proven track record of managing long-term (2-3 years) OEM sales cycles.

Required Education \& Profile Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Food Technology. * Professional Diploma and certificates from South East Asia Academy for Beverage Technology , Food processing and packaging. * Professional membership or Associate like Singapore Institute of food Science and technology or ASEAN Food \& Beverage Alliance In return, we offer*
