About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you'll play a key role in growing BazHub's merchant network across Dublin. This is a hybrid role combining telephone sales, face-to-face meetings and business development.

You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with local retailers and helping them grow their business through BazHub's technology and delivery solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
  • Cold call independent retailers to introduce BazHub.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with business owners.
  • Visit local businesses across Dublin.
  • Present BazHub's platform and delivery solutions.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with merchants.
  • Negotiate and close new partnership agreements.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline from first contact to signed agreement.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.

You'll work with a wide range of independent retailers, including:

  • Grocery stores
  • Off-licences
  • Butchers
  • Pet shops
  • Health food stores
  • Asian supermarkets
  • Other independent retailers

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Confident speaking with business owners.
  • Comfortable with both telephone sales and face-to-face meetings.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • Resilient, positive and solution-focused.
  • Eager to build a long-term career in Business Development.
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Previous experience in B2B Sales, Field Sales, Business Development or Account Management is preferred, but we also welcome ambitious candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

A full driving licence is desirable, and access to your own vehicle would be an advantage.
