Job Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support software development and digital transformation projects. The role serves as a bridge between clients, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure business needs are accurately translated into functional solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering \& Analysis
- Conduct meetings, interviews, and workshops with clients and stakeholders to gather business requirements.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements clearly and accurately.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, and Use Cases.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, project teams, and technical teams.
- Facilitate requirement clarification sessions and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Solution Design \& Documentation
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers and testers.
- Assist in designing business processes, workflows, and system solutions.
- Create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and workflow documentation where required.
Project Support
- Support project planning, scope definition, and effort estimation activities.
- Participate in project meetings and provide business insights.
- Assist Project Managers in monitoring project progress and managing change requests.
Testing \& Quality Assurance
- Review test scenarios and test cases to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with users during testing activities.
- Verify that delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements and objectives.
Training \& Implementation
- Prepare user manuals, guides, and training materials.
- Conduct system demonstrations and end-user training sessions.
- Support system deployment and post-implementation activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and business enhancement.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Keep updated with industry trends, business analysis methodologies, and technology advancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, or a related role (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Jira, Confluence, Draw.io, or similar platforms.
Pay: RM2,905.61 - RM5,000.00 per month
