Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bridge Construction Carpenter and Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing precise carpentry and concrete finishing tasks essential to bridge projects. Your expertise will help ensure the structural integrity, safety, and durability of bridges while adhering to strict safety standards and project specifications. Duties

• Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute carpentry and concrete finishing tasks.
• Construct formwork for bridges using formwork construction techniques, ensuring stability and adherence to design specifications.
• Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures, ensuring proper placement according to engineering standards.
• Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using hand tools and power tools, including concrete mixers and concrete pumps.
• Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like heavy lifting or concrete pumping while following all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on bridge or heavy civil infrastructure.
• Blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery related to carpentry and concrete finishing.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site transportation needs.
