Multiple Trades needed for Immediate Start

  • Qualified Block-layer

Seeking an experienced block layer capable of working across residential and commercial projects. Applicants should be confident in laying blocks accurately, reading plans, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship on site. Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet project deadlines is essential.

  • Qualified Plumber

Looking for a licensed plumber with experience in new builds, maintenance, rough-ins, and fit-offs. The role requires someone who can work independently, problem solve on site, and maintain strong attention to detail while following safety procedures.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent)

Current Plumbing \& Drainage Occupational Licence

Additional endorsements highly regarded:

Backflow prevention

Solar hot water systems

Heat pump systems

TMV endorsement

On-site sewerage maintenance

  • Qualified Fabricator / Welder

We are seeking a motivated welder/fabricator experienced in workshop and on-site fabrication work. Successful applicants should be capable of interpreting drawings, carrying out quality welds, and assisting with steel repairs and custom fabrication tasks.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years welding/fabrication experience

Experience with MIG, TIG \& Stick welding

Current welding tickets/certifications preferred

Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Qualified Carpenters

GT Builders are looking for skilled carpenters with experience in framing, formwork, fit-outs, and general construction works. Applicants should be confident using plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Measure, cut, assemble, and install structural building materials

Carry out framing, fix-outs, and formwork tasks

Install cast-in items including anchor channels, plates, bolts, and façade components

Maintain organised work areas and assist with on-site coordination

Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a positive team culture

Applicants must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work effectively within a team. Relevant trade qualifications and previous industry experience are required.
