Job Overview

LuminaFit™ is seeking an energetic, confident, and welcoming Bilingual Fitness Instructor to join our growing team in downtown Winder, Georgia.

We are a women-focused boutique fitness and wellness studio offering an elevated mix of dance fitness, Pilates-inspired classes, yoga, barre, strength training, and specialty movement experiences.

We are looking for an instructor who loves connecting with people, creating positive energy, and helping women feel strong, confident, and excited about movement.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication is required.

Experience teaching one or more of the following is strongly preferred:

• Dance Fitness
• Zumba or Latin Dance Fitness
• Pilates
• Yoga
• Barre
• Strength Training
• Functional Fitness
• Group Fitness

Candidates who can confidently teach multiple class formats are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging, high-energy group fitness classes.
• Demonstrate exercises and movements clearly and provide appropriate modifications for different fitness levels.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for women of varying ages, backgrounds, and fitness abilities.
• Motivate participants while maintaining proper technique and class safety.
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes.
• Assist with class setup and reset when needed.
• Build relationships with members and help create a strong sense of community within the studio.
• Communicate professionally with members, instructors, and LuminaFit leadership.
• Encourage class participation, member retention, and an exceptional member experience.
• Participate in LuminaFit instructor training and certification.
• Maintain current knowledge of fitness trends, safety practices, and your areas of instruction.
• Represent the LuminaFit brand with professionalism, positivity, confidence, and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Previous group fitness or fitness instruction experience preferred.
• Experience in dance, Pilates, yoga, barre, strength training, or group fitness strongly preferred.
• Ability to confidently lead and motivate a group.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, dependable, professional, and comfortable connecting with members.
• Ability to provide modifications for different experience and fitness levels.
• CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification before teaching independently.
• Relevant fitness certifications are strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a women-centered boutique fitness environment.
• Willingness to complete LuminaFit Instructor Certification and training.

Compensation

Starting pay: $22 per class

After successful completion of the LuminaFit Instructor Certification, instructors may become eligible for our attendance-based incentive compensation program, with the opportunity to earn up to $35 per class.

Schedule

We are currently looking for instructors with availability for a combination of:

• Weekday mornings
• Weekday evenings
• Saturday mornings
• Sunday afternoons

Flexible and recurring availability is preferred.
