Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Architect to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide data platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and innovation. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver robust big data solutions that support growth, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Define and implement scalable big data frameworks across enterprise systems.
• Platform Development: Design and deploy data lakes, warehouses, and streaming platforms.
• Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all systems.
• Innovation Leadership: Drive adoption of AI-driven analytics, cloud-native solutions, and advanced data engineering practices.
• Risk Management: Identify data-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaboration: Partner with executives, engineers, and product teams to align big data initiatives with business objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, system performance, and data delivery metrics.
• Team Leadership: Mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of data engineering/architecture experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of big data frameworks and GCC digital environments.
• Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multinational or regional digital transformation organizations preferred.

Pay: QAR32,000.00 - QAR40,000.00 per month
